2008 Lancer exterior

2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Exterior Overview

The all-new 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer brings once more a heritage of almost 30 years of international compact Sedan highlighted with dynamic lines, a snappy but powerful engine and a whole new set of cutting-edge features. The new look of the 2008 Lancer Sedan can be noticed from the exterior styling itself. The latest models of Lancer impart a mean driving machine that can be felt in its shark-nose styled grille, aerodynamic body cladding features and color-keyed rear spoiler.

Engine

2008 Lancer exterior
There is only one engine configuration for all the three trims, GTS, ES and DE. The all-new aluminum 2.0 liter MIVEC (Mitsubishi Innovative Valve-timing Electronic Control) engine with the four-cylinder power plant has the capacity to deliver an impressive 152 horsepower of power that can be mated with a sport-oriented suspension and a standard five-speed manual transmission or the optional Sportronic CVT (continuously variable transmission) with steering-wheel-mounted magnesium paddle shifters that is meant to deliver superb sport driving experience. The latest engine configuration of 2008 Lancer Sedan gives a perfect blend of performance and at the same time unmatched efficiency. For particular states where low emissions rate is essential, the new engine is configured in such a way that it goes well with the PZEV (partial-zero emission vehicle) emission rating. The best part of this engine is that it does not have a negative impact on our valuable environment.

Trapezoid Shape

The grille and lower intake of the current 2008 Lancer Mitsubishi Vehicles form a trapezoid shape in a horizontal manner that gets split by the front bumper. The blacked-out blanks placed just below the bumper gives proper balance to the headlights and the projector-lens fog lights. Mild creases can be noticed on the hood's power bulge that starts from the grille back till the A-pillars framing the windshield, while the well-defined shoulders is not touched over the front wheel wells. The side views matches the design of the front view with the upper part of the grille towering over the flushing front bumper. A high belt line is placed at the point where the side windows meet the panels of the lower door. It is done so as to deliver a more substantial and firm look to the all-new 2008 Lancer. The alloy wheels are placed in the circular shaped wheel openings. The rear side with a tall truck lid is quite impressive. The taillights and the rear headlights come in a sleek design with a decent amount of individual personality. This decent car is far better than the previous edition as far as the exterior styling is concerned. The overall evolution looks as good as it works. The 2008 Lancer New exterior look is going to rock.
